When you are looking at burdock root, look for strong roots, not flimsy, it can be hard to find but I buy it at Whole Foods.  Is it expensive?  Yes but with all the beauty benefits of this root, I think it is worth it.  You have to juice the roots although I have heard of people grating them into salads but I haven’t.  You can also purchase dried burdock root. You still get the benefits of burdock root this way and it is less expensive. Just make sure it is organic!
